Alan is a business executive with decades of experience with some of the world’s largest financial institutions. In 2023, after years in leadership roles with both large and small companies, Alan became a co-founder of InvestTrek Capital which combines his passion for building businesses, skill for investing in people and projects, and a life long interest in sustainability.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur in 2020, Alan managed finance of over $3 billion of commercial real estate loans, developed growth strategies and managed accounts for a diverse range of clients. Over the course of 16 years as West Coast Manager for the Real Estate Structured Finance Group at Bank of America, he was responsible for originating fixed and floating rate, non-recourse commercial real estate loans. During a two-year stint as a Managing Director at Wells Fargo Real Estate Capital Markets Group, Alan originated fixed and floating rate debt for a wide range of financial institutional and middle market commercial real estate investors.
More recently in entrepreneurial roles, he has successfully started businesses in hospitality and adventure travel, most notably Terra Vi. Most recently, Alan established the United States’ first VC company dedicated to the world’s fastest-growing sport, padel. With a lifelong passion for finance, nature, sustainability and innovation, Alan is excited to have launched InvestTrek Capital.
Alan has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Michigan. He currently lives in Orange County, California.
