Tim Schroeder

Tim is a co-founder of InvestTrek Capital after a successful run as an executive with both institutional and entrepreneurial commercial real estate firms. Over a 30-year career, Tim has held many management roles including most recently as a co-founder of a private real estate company focused on acquiring, renovating, and managing commercial real estate throughout the United States. Earlier in his career, he worked with some of the biggest names in real estate and management consulting, including CBRE, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Deloitte, where he advised clients on real estate operational and strategy issues.

With a background in multi-family, office, industrial, hospitality and manufactured housing parks, Tim has broad knowledge developing and managing commercial real estate assets. This experience spans urban, suburban, and rural locations including re-development, re-positioning and ground up development. For the past seven years he has served as President and Partner of Performance Realty, a private real estate company specializing in multifamily and mobile home park investment and development. Prior to Performance, Tim spent 10 years as Managing Director of CBRE. He has also led California operations for Chicago-based development company, Quadrangle, during which time he developed a 120-acre business park for office, hotel and retail use.

Calling San Francisco home, Mr. Schroeder is an avid hiker, skier, and supporter of community-based arts programs. He currently serves on the Board of ODC, a San Francisco based dance company where his roles have included Board Chair and Chair of the real estate and facilities committee. He holds an MBA from The University of Michigan and a B.S. in Urban Planning from Michigan State University.
